Awesome ya'll! Extension cords and extra outlets will be useful. I'll bring a couple extra usb kbds/mice, 2 dewars, 1-2 extra monitors, slim pot for yos....anything else?

On the 'bring stuff to sell' thing.....are any attendees actually looking for anything? Just checking as am trying not to bring n^x more stuff than needed (for the 4th year in a row :/ )

    cyas next week!!

I've been looking for a Dewar.  How much are you trying to get for one?

I'm not or sure yet if I can come Friday or Saturday yet but plan to stop by for at least a half day.  Been too busy with work to bench anything lately.  If I can get some time I'll get some hardware ready.  If not I'll at least hang out and learn.

You should definitely come! Bring your pots and hardware and we'll all help you get going on the ln2 experience! Stop in whenever you can. Don't worry about the fee, anyone with a 2 year old definitely deserves a break. ;)

Thanks! Can't wait.  The closest thing I've had to ln2 is a bucket of ice on my radiator.  Hopefully I get some experience with dry ice before then to get an idea what I'm doing.

Best thing to do is just keep an eye out in the forum for a used pot much cheaper usually. Is there a trick I'm missing, I can't seem to get near your or Jan with same clocks :(

Newer drivers with tesselation off and modified memory timings with R_timings from overclock.net are my only "tricks".  I didn't do anything to windows it's a dirty old installation that would benefit from a fresh install.  I don't know what Jan is doing to memory but he has a better proccesor than me so that helps him.

So I just did some testing and I found something rather odd. The memory voltage setting in Wattman doesn't seem to do anything. I've tested values from 800mv to 1150mv and when checking the various VRMs on my card with a DMM I found that none of the voltages actually changed. So I'm wondering if that voltage setting even does anything. Because after some closer investigation of the PCB I found that the 1V AUX rail is using one of those APW8722 controllers which don't support software voltage control. The IR 3567B seems to only control the core voltage and nothing else.

I know this is old but in my testing I have found that it is just the miniumum voltage that the core needs at maximum memory frequency.  I needed to raise this slightly to stop crashing at low loads like chrome browser when pushing the memory hard.
