    Stability is the key word.

Which I have never seen for 12 years.

Revisions and changes and back and forth. Again and again.

Every time some love and some hate the changes.

Peculiar how inflated points buy souls :)

    Anyway,  whatever.

But keep it steady this time.

I could not agree more. This with stability was pointed out like 12-13 years ago and a suggestion then was to get someone who knows how to work with databases (and PHP back then) to take care of some parts. This was totally ignored by hwbot. As example HallOfFame does not work as it should.

(look at the results and on some HOF-sub pages try out the links)
To make more people interested it is very easy to see who is logged in and to guess what new results that person might be interested in. Why not use that information?

This with leagues and points I hardy dont want to discuss.  Personally I think it would be good to put yourself in the users position. Am I interested in results done with LN2/H2O?  Am I interested in result in a "graphic" benchmark where people use expensive CPUs which I cannot affort? etc. I am really impressed by Rauf, Splave etc, but I cannot compete with them. If the site is for people to compete in computer benchmarks, why doesnt it show what I am interested in? For me it looks like the site is design to attract like 50-100 people. I feel it is a real pitty as I feel the website could be really, really great AND fun.

    Just my 50 cents, cheers!

  2. I have two matched pair of G.Skill F3-12800CL7D-2GBHZ (see attached photo) i was thinking to (finally) get rid of. Don't remember performance.

I also have one pair of OCZ3FXE20004GK that do at least 1060MHz 7-7-7 in bench on air.

What can I get for these and where is best to sell them?

  3. Every now and then, I see points that I do not really understand. As I am benching 3D05 with one GTX580, I saw these two:

    http://hwbot.org/submission/2220795_wizerty_3dmark05_geforce_gtx_580_54650_marks

    54650 in 3D05 gives 16.8 HW points

    http://hwbot.org/submission/2097449_coccus80_3dmark05_geforce_gtx_580_54784_marks

    54784 in 3D05 gives 14.6 HW points

Shouldn't a higher benchmark result give higher HW points? What am I missing?

    Regards, Anders

  4. I use WinXP SP3. The benchmark runs as it should and I can save result. However, so far all saved results are impossible to get verified when trying to submit result on the hwbot site. I get the message "Invalid data file: Unable to decrypt the datafile". I have latest version of the wrapper.

Any suggestions what can be my problem?

  5. Hi

    1.

When searching for teams, some links to teams don't work for me. I have issue with all teams that have a dot . in their name. Adding a / after the url solves it.

    http://hwbot.org/team/techsweden.org

    do not work

    http://hwbot.org/team/techsweden.org/

    works

    2.

How do I find best wprime-1024 result that is done with one Xeon E5 Series? According to the search results, this is the best. However, on that site it says it is "only" the second best XEON E5 2687W...?

The SP1M result seems really, really bad compared with clock. Do you have an explaination for that result?

    This is mine as comparission:
