wrestling with an FX-4100 takes... patience lol

good luck & good benching everyone

oh dayum my 5950x is sweating over here lol! Good job!

Thanks! Youre so close! Took 2x cups of coffee and ~3hrs to get another .03s lol. Talk about diminishing returns! Mobos limited to 1.8vDIMM and my Royals need more for CL11 or tCWL10. May try on the X570-e before its over ;)

So close! Try all core instead of PBO.. this bench needs to pull watts to score well it seems!! I think a re-run and youll have it.

strong/hungry CPU !

1080p Medium lol.. edit your submission

Yes - CPU ref# = GTLv for each core. Typically 1x core always needs a bit more/less vs the other to stay in sync. If core1 [ref2] was higher at stock.. it likely needs to be higher now as well. For Gigabyte boards..you have to figure out what GTLv youre actually giving CPU by using the following:
[VTT * CPU ref1%] = Core 0 GTLv
[VTT * CPU ref2%] = Core 1 GTLv
**On Asus boards.. they just show you the set value in volts so no calculation is needed. What you see is what youre giving each core.
Use 32m wprime to see how close the cores are in sync/out of sync. You will literally see one core completing wprime loops while the other is still calculating = out of sync and needs more GTLv

Told ya you had the sauce! LN2 no need.

240-260FSB is pretty easy if you keep everything in proper ratio.. and dual channel isnt a problem but can depend on CPU. QPI for Clarkys can go pretty high.. like +4.6ghz.. its mainly your Uncore/NB and mem that you need to keep in check as you try to scale FSB. You can test this on air easily and just scale up your CPU once youre cold..they are really easy little CPU to bench cold. Also - lower PLLv to 1.5-1.6v when cold, for better CB temp.
-
*adjusting VTT will also adjust your CPU GTLv.. so be careful moving that around too much once youve found a good range for it.. 1.38 - 1.42VTT can be enough depending on your GTL settings.
I would go higher on MCHv and try to work on your GTLv to get both cores stable. If you can get it in windows.. run 32m wprime.. watch to see if one core is far behind/ahead of the other. Thats an indication your GTLs are not optimal. Try adjusting GTLv on that core, before you move VTT.

beast!!! .. new CPU or just add more sauce?

fill it with copper BB's !
Great innovation! Looks like it a factory built unit too lol! As stated.. try to sand/lap the bottom and see if you can find some copper shot BBs ..they work great. Also.. dont use too much liquid inside..you need just enough to transfer the temp from the DICE. Great work!

those 4870x2s still around? I might need them back

After some more work.. 4666mhz C16 was possible with same CPU/mobo/RAM combo. Oddly enough, new bios ver now allows clocking fclk to +1900 without WHEA errors present.. though something is still not happy completely as times get abysmally slow
1900/ 1:1 1b y-cruncher = ~21.9s
1933/ 1:1 1b y-cruncher = ~40s
So..3800 tight for Pi is still my limit it seems. Either way.. B2 stepping look good but still suffer from ~1900fclk cap
