    3dmark03 sucks if you can tweak the clocks to blank the last bits of each test you can increase the score by thousands of points with out it looking suspect.

    I love picking up old/cheap shit and benching them so would like to keep all the old benches, modern cards are boring, to locked down and bloody costly.

    Please let us cash poor guys still have a chance to at least get a few points.

    I have got 1.78.3 working but it is very unreliable. The core voltage is miss reported off and on and it still freezes but only when I have a good score to screen shot. Back to 150 version of Cinebench and 3d mark submissions if that is OK.

    This old shit is starting to cause me to lose hair.

    Thanks TASOS, I have also tried setting DMI to 0 in the config file with no joy. I have also tried using 1.78.3 as a portable run from a USB which failed in the same way.

    I'll try clearing out all previous and reg entries. Thanks again for pointers.

    I'm having major issues with CPUz freezing the system at about the 12 to 15% point whilst detecting processors. Version 1.50 works fine but I can not get a validation link and therefore can't compete in the % overclock round.

    Any ideas would be appreciated, I'm trying to use an Athlon XP 1700+ for this round.

    Have to be online for real bench? Crap my system does better with the Nic off. :( I already only have only 1gb of ram to use.

     

    Anyway I'm finding out that the damage to my motherboard includes some dead PCI-e lanes. Stuck a 8x and cant use 16x pcie speeds. I'm going to get reamed here. :eek:

     

    But hay I did find one of my gx2's can do 700mhz core and 800mhz memory on stock voltage and hardly even artifacts. So maybe I will not come in last :P Got to love broken parts.

    My other gx2 is covered in rust, yes rust. Its amazing I can even get a score with my parts.

     

     

    Anyway this is looking like a pretty cool round, can't wait to see the last of the subs that tend to come in at the last moments.

     

    I made the mistake of getting 2 GX2's when I saw the rules on multi GPU's only to find 3D Mark Ice Storm hates Crossfire. Took a while to get them working in 4 way as well, then I saw the score :-(

    G96 Based ?

    I've been looking at the submissions so far and they are using FX4600 cards which seem to be G80GL based.

    Is the G96 refering to the core if so aren't we taking the FX380 and FX580. The only others I can see are the mobile FX770M and FX1700M ones.

    Could someone clarify before I source something I can not use, thanks.

    The verification guideline links are not correct, just like RR#23.

    Click HWBOT Prime and you get the guidelines for XTU submission

    Click both links for GPUPI for CPU and you are greeted with the Maxxmem ones.

    I got caught out last time with HWBOT Prime as I assumed that the details of OS were that of XTU as I was linked to it, plus the fact that it is stated in the overview that quote; "the validation process for the benchmarks is slightly different"
