jurek
hi since there is so much burden on 12V rail in new systems why PSUs even from good brands have so mach amperage on 3,3V and 5V rails? and so much wattage on those rails and combined even ~150W if maybe 20W is used? can power for GPUs and CPUs be also drawn from those rails to support 12V rail? Veld
why PSUs even from good brands have so mach amperage on 3,3V and 5V rails? PSU standard's request. and so much wattage on those rails and combined even ~150W if maybe 20W is used? not 20W, but 50-60W (my own rig's (C2D E6750 at 4.0GHz / i965/ 2x1024 DDR-2 PC8000 / 256Mb 7900GS at 790/960 / 3x160Gb SATA-II) measurements). can power for GPUs and CPUs be also drawn from those rails to support 12V rail? No.
