Posted October 8, 20159 yr My early 2015 Macbook Pro 15" overheats and trottle a lot. Reducing CPU core voltage 110mv with Intel Extreme tuning tool helps bringing down the temperature 20%. I am also running external GTX980ti GPU so the internal built in GPU on the CPU is turned off.
