Recommended "case" fan for BC1 as HTPC

Hi guys!

 

Are there more people out there who use the BC1 as a skeleton for an "IKEA BESTA HTPC"?

I wanted to know what "case" fans you'd use to silently blow air out of the back of the IKEA Besta media console?

It would depend onb your CPU, I would definetly avoid a Tower design and go more for a Low-Profile one for the CPU Cooler :

The Famous Noctua NH-L12 is big but efficient, they have the NH-L9i is cas eyou have a low-power CPU. Themrlaright have some too (cannot remenber the product name tho)

 

There is no compatibility issue with the cooler as far as we tested witht he BC1 as there are a lot more space between the table and the motherboard.

 

For a extraction Fan, you could pick any low-RPM Fan that would do the work, no need to have high-RPM nor High Airflow to push the hot air "out" at the back.
