oryxonline Posted July 17, 2017 Share Posted July 17, 2017 This is my standard Lenovo Yoga 910 - I won't fiddle with the clock frequencies because it runs too hot anyway. Lenovo still need to change the BIOS so the Thermal Limiting doesn't kick in too quickly and so often. I'm certain intensive tasks such as ray-tracing run faster if the BIOS could simply maintain a slightly lower clock frequency, say 2.7ghz, which would keep the temperature at around 80C and prevent the thermal limiter turning on.
