i7700k higher frequency-lower benchmark result?

Hello gyes,noob overclocker here.I was using the 5 way optimization tool to rise cpu frequency to 4.8Ghz. The only thing I did was to set target CPU voltage tuning to 1290 mV but even thou the frequency got higher I receive about 50 points lower in benchmark test. My board is asus formula IX, GPU 1080 Ti and 16 Gb ram if this is of the matter.So I'm hoping some of you will point what I did wrong.
