Posted August 15, 20213 yr Turn off hyper threading in bios... With the exception of a few Photoshop filters nothing will take advantage of more than a few threads, let alone the 18 threads supported without hyper threading... some compression algorithms will, of course (in synthetic benchmarks at best)... You'll find the overall increase in performance more than an argument to do so.
