Hi guys I have an Ati Radeon XL PCI 8MB on my p4's motherboard and I want to run Aquamark.

I've installed the latest driver and next i've installed the benchmark. The vga can run the test but after 30-35 minutes the benchmark stops.

 

Have you some suggestions ?? I've seen results with ati rage so i think that is possible complete the benchmark.

 

Do you know how can I set the affinity on XP ?? and can you suggest me some tricks for improve my scores ??

To set the affinity, just oepen task manager and clic right on the process.

 

For the card itself, you have to test different drivers, some will work and some not.

And sometimes it will not work under windows XP but will work with Windows 98 and again not all drivers will work with 98.

yes, i can confirm that christian is right.

But with XP it says that the access to the process is denied and i can-t set the affinity and the priority....

Thanks for the suggestion, but my P4 have HT than it's not supported from this software

Hum, don't know if you can disable HT within Windows, can you disable it from the BIOS ?

i think you only can disable HT in bios.

My P4 is underclocked to 1.86 at stock is 3,46.....If i try a p4 3,2ghz i can improve it and even beat you

 

 

I got the Rage XL on a P4 board but the board is dead, the score I have is from the Rage XL of my server, 2 x Xeon 2.8 Ghz and the Rage XL.

 

btw why you underclocked it ?

NO i don't know why the cpu is always at 1,86ghz. It's a P4 552M 3,46Ghz and it works always in battery mode and it goeas at only 1,86ghz

fiuuuu, my server score is safe

 

launch cpuz and wprime then you will see if it stays @ 1.86 Ghz even under load

 

Usi WPrime mentre CPUZ è aperto per vedere se è encora @ 1.86 Ghz in carica

I've achieved 424 marks :D if I run the bench with the 3,2ghz p4 i beat you christian
