Does P7P55D-E evo have the limit of CPU voltage?

Featured Replies

Hello.

I'm overclocking my i7-870 on P7P55D-E evo.

But I can't raise core-voltage more than 1.608 V.

Is this limit of voltage?

The maximum safe voltage for the Intel Core i7-870 processor is around 1.4 to 1.5 volts. It's over.

Thank you for replying!

It's because just my fault that I can't rise voltage.
Now, I can rise voltage to 1.64 V when I do extreme OC.

I'm sorry to have troubled you.
