westsider Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 is tehre any possibility to run 2001 on vista 32??? Quote
Crew Turrican Posted March 21, 2009 Crew Posted March 21, 2009 yeah runs without problems for me. but it's way slower compared to a well tweaked win xp Quote
Crew Turrican Posted March 21, 2009 Crew Posted March 21, 2009 then it also wouldn't run on win xp since we are using directx 9.0c there. the future dx version are backwards compatible don't know what's wrong with your vista then. Quote
schub97 Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 ypu must have direct x9.0c,also you installating directx9.0c over 10. Quote
OverDozeD Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 i cannot run it needs DX8 west I run it without any problems and compatibility mode vista32 SP1 i used directX web update but agree with Turrican, it's WAY slower than XP. Quote
t4ct1c47 Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 The only limitation in running 3DMark01SE on Vista is the fact that you can only use one GPU. This is down to the fact that nVidia's and AMD's drivers only allow for multiple GPU's to be used on DirectX 9 and 10 applications. As 3DMark01SE uses DirectX 8.1 only one GPU can be used effectively. Enableing SLi or Crossfire can actually lower your score when using Vista. Quote
