Overclocking GMA X3100 (Core GM965)

Hello everyone,

 

I've just discovered this website, and since I own a laptop with the Intel GM965 chipset, I stumbled upon some results that made me cry.

quite a few members have managed to bring awesome results out of this very same chipset, although 99% of other forums will tell you that you can't overclock or raise your performance with these integrated graphics.

 

Therefore, to keep it short and simple, how can this be done? Even a 5% increase in performance would make me very happy. How do you do it?

Hi,

 

most of the time those results have been achieved using a highly overclocked CPU.

 

Here we're dealing with CPU overclocking and not GPU overclocking, but the result is the same, better performances.
