E7300 clocked successfully at 4.15GHz (max threshold) @ 1.49V on P43 chipset. Now running Q9400 on X48 ICH9R chipset want to clock to 5.0GHz on air (untested). Possible? Major Failure imminent? Want to know difference between quad and duel core cpu's architecture, can you explain please? Know that Quad at same stability as duel under less power consumption meaning duel requires more power imput than quad. Know that under current conditions ocing Quad is easyier than find threshold on duel. What else to know? Possible side paramenters, hurdles in threshold path? Know that duel contained maximum threshold path forks on many occasions, Quad same or more power equals overcome?
