daniz185 Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Hi Chris,i have some question about HYNIX H9C BFR. how much max Voltage for that memory to to push the clock higher using LN2 ? because i see you have many great record for this memory. I open the APACER ARES PC2400 8GB kit memory heatspreader and the chip also using Hynix H9C BFR chip. Thanks Quote
Christian Ney Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Depend on how cold you are, you have to play with voltage and cold, with 2.0v I have CB (Cold Bug) at -136, with 1.9v I have CB at -154, with 1.8v I have CB at -167, with 1.7v I haven't got any Cold Bug at all. Now BFR/CFR doesn't scale a lot with too many volts/less cold. For me it was better to coole them more and lower voltage. Quote
daniz185 Posted June 14, 2012 Author Posted June 14, 2012 so Hynix H9C not scale better with high voltage. ok i will try with lower voltage put more LN2 in the pot. thanks chris. Quote
