Crew Olesius Posted December 24, 2012 Crew Posted December 24, 2012 not bad try lower memory timing, it will increase your perfomance too Quote
itsakjt Posted December 26, 2012 Author Posted December 26, 2012 Yeah I know. But highly unstable. Quote
Crew Olesius Posted December 26, 2012 Crew Posted December 26, 2012 did you try higher dram voltage? such as 1.65-1.68? maybe your cpu IMC is not good and AMD chips do not like high memory freq... Quote
itsakjt Posted December 27, 2012 Author Posted December 27, 2012 Yes I tried upto 1.71V but still it is unstable. I think maybe its the IMC. Also increasing the IMC from 2.8 GHz to 3.0 GHz increases performance a lot but I can't make it stable. Quote
Crew Olesius Posted December 27, 2012 Crew Posted December 27, 2012 try lower memory freq, maybe it solve your problem in addition, i think you have bios option for IMC such as CPU-NB? Quote
itsakjt Posted December 28, 2012 Author Posted December 28, 2012 No it does not solve the problem even at 1600 MHz. The closest I can get is 1333 MHz at 7-7-7-20. But the current setting is better than that one. And yes I have the option for CPU-NB. I set it to 2.8 GHz and its is stable. When I go past 2.9 GHz, instability shows up. Quote
