havli Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Nice score with DDR platform. I was testing Prescott 3.0 on my P4C800... and the board died. 1.5V vcore was apparently too much. I hope replacing VRM will fix it. Quote
inventpl Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Try another one, but with vdimm mod, You see better score. Anyway for E0 air cooling this is very good. @ Havli : 1.5v isn't too mouch for Prescott. I done all my 3D test with G1 @ 42XX - 4300 include 3D 06 cpu test with IC7, without mod's. Smth is wrong with Your P4C800. Quote
havli Posted March 5, 2013 Author Posted March 5, 2013 Yeah, I used 1.6V on 775 Prescotts and no problems there. That P4C800 was running Northwoods at 1,9V absolutely fine... maybe just a bad luck with Prescott. One of the mosfets blew up instantly after applying voltage change in BIOS. Quote
