Guys I have extremely low idle temps. I am running a delidded 4770K with IC Diamond 24 Karat on the die. Lapped the bottom of the water block and I have averaged about 27C idle temp. Under load at 4.9Ghz, on water alone I am peaking around 80-84. I swear by this product.. I was cautious because of rumors of scratching or garbage like that.. I can attest there are NO scarring, removal or damage to either the Die itself or the laser etching on the IHS. It will remain safe. Pay the money, warm it up and apply it..
