kill4l Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 hello all, this my first topic on the forum. i have an idea, as we all know most benchmark programs today are CPU limited. but as far as i noticed 3Dmark Vantage has a standalone score for GPU the problem is there is a lot of GPU that overclocks like a charm and hits great numbers but their owners don't have a good high end CPU which means their overall score will be lowered overall. my suggestion is as 3Dmark Vantage is a GPU benchmark right?? so it will be nice to make the GPU score the main score of it, not the performance set as it now , which will provide more accurate comparison between the GPU cards i hope my English is good Quote
Eeky NoX Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Interesting but even the others from FMs suite give a GFX score isn't it ? Quote
kill4l Posted August 5, 2010 Author Posted August 5, 2010 yes but the problem is that 3Dmark03 ,05,06 all the bench test (most of them) are CPU limited. but in vantage the GPU score not much depending on CPU. Quote
Eeky NoX Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 True! my bad Umh but it's a synthetique benchmark and it is also used like this. Well I find the suggestion interesting it's right but I feel on my own for now ^^ Quote
