  1. BTW ... I forgot to say, I used the Win 8.1 pro Build 9600. I'm saying this, because before I got the 742 ... I updated the windows to a newer build and nothing, was getting constant 740. So I made a new fresh install of the Win 8.1 pro Build 9600 ... and got constant 741. Until I got the 742 with the new set of TridentZ. Maybe it nothing, maybe it is ... I thought it was worth to mention it.

    Hi man!

First of all congrats fir this amazing WR!

How many tridentz kits did you look for/binned? It was the 3600c16d model at the end?

    Thanks in advance :)

  2. You can't but in Windows you can

Msconfig you can choose the number of core

Yeah i did the msconfig, but that is not the splution i'm looking for because i want to disable cores in order to get higher cpu clocks.

I saw some top scores from users using q6600 and q8400 with only one core enable and very high fsb, that would be impossible to ancheive using all 4 cores.

Could they be using custom bios?

  3. Hello everyone!

I'm stuck trying to find a bios option in my rampage extreme x48 to disable more than 1 core.

I could just find the "multi-threading" under "cpu configuration" but this disable only one core in my q6600.

Is there any option to disable 2 or even 3 cores on bios?

I'm running the last official bios, 1301.

    Thanks in advance!

  4. Mine is pressurized and is kept indoors in spare bedroom, it has a relief valve that is one way and opens when pressure is over 5 psi. It also has a cable connecting to the dewar handle in case of failure, the top is just a compressed rubber stopper and will pop off way before there's enough pressure to pop the dewar itself. Very convenient but needs to sit a day before pressure is built up enough to pour, but if I'm looking to use right away I just ditch the top and pour by tipping. Mine also has a gauge to show the psi and the valve can be pulled out a bit to relieve pressure or removing the top

    Thanks everyone for the tips.

What is your dewar model? I didn't get this: "It also has a cable connecting to the dewar handle in case of failure.."

    How does it work?

  5. Hi everyone!

I'm going to get my first dewar soon (probably a new one, with warranty, about 20lt capacity) but since it will be stored inside my house (home office), i want to know from experienced guys here if there is any tips about pressure/valve problems (is it going to explode?! LOL ;) ), properly storage, how much ln2 do i need to keep in it for future refill etc...?

    Thanks in advance :)
