Any news?

With GC-Extreme under the IHS, I get +5 +8°C on the core, and since this is a "Daily" CPU mostly, I don't know what I'll put inside
-
as soon as possible bro, here's not easy to bench under LN2, humidity is high and now (17:39) it's 29°C inside the house
-
Here it goes the video

Hi guys, bringing up to you something interesting: this morning I delidded my 4770k, I was FKIN afraid but yea, I made it out!
I made a video that I'll upload tonight since connection is only available at that hour of the day. Meanwhile, I gained something like 30°C (precisely 27-28°C), passing from 95+°C with heavy stress test @ 5.0GHz to barely 70°C. I just had a quick session for Linx, just to see temperatures @ 4.5GHz, and that's what I got...
As soon as the video (italian language) is up, I'll post it here if someone is interested. However I succeeded in benchmarking with the CPU @ 4.9GHz with temperatures up to 71-72°C with 3Ds Before delidding, I only could bench @4.8GHz and I had to wait for the "cooler" hours of the day.
Eventually, I used Liquid Pro between IHS and die, while I used GC-Extreme between IHS and waterblock (running on a H100i atm).
BYE!

Wow bro, that CPU is liquid gold!
-
Thanks to you, Gamer! Danke!
-
Thanks a lot Massman, efficient as always
-
-
Wow guys, I've never seen so many people on the same challenge
-
Great efficiency! Even though I suspect some little tweak That's a 5GHz voltage/score

http://hwbot.org/team/rehwolution_oc_team/
This is the team we are IN, so the one to be renamed would be this one:
http://hwbot.org/team/rhw_overclock_team/
Oh and I was wondering if I may see my nickname changed to Hades, since that's my nickname on hwbot but not on the forum, thanks Massman!

Hi, we previously were in the RHW Overclock Team, now that we moved to another OC Team, is there a chance to delete it so that there aren't 2 teams with similar names? Thanks!
-
Yep! More points respect to 4.7/4.8GHz, great efficiency skills!
-
Ciruzzo have u tried running 4800 uncore at less than 1.4
Yep, Linx solid @ 4.8GHz with 1.25v on cache voltage
pretty sure dumo knows what he is doing besides when you push imc to limit you need to lower cache and cpu speedpretty interested to see you cpu cache speed,i've noticed that good clocking cpu's reach high cache speed too while dumb cpu suck in every way(including cache...)...
well, at that frequency, it's useless heat generated, it's just too much :\
-
Cache voltage is way too high, for that frequency 1.25 should be enough bro, be careful! However liquid temperatures?

I got a Maximus VI Hero but the TweakIt version here isn't compatible lol, I saw around a new version, is there any link for that?
-
I posted a result too, it sucks, but hey, it's @ air
-
Any tip for BCLK clocking? I'd like to check what's the maximum it can go with this CPU, atm I got 180MHz validate, can't go any further without fine tuning I suppose..
-
There's who's been telling me that a CPU like this is wasted in my hands, since I don't freeze it, so it could be the luckiest CPU around, but still, it's useless. So, I just have fun, ignoring what the others say
-
pfft, it's just a validate, on air, many people are better, many CPUs are better But I'm having fun with this system, it didn't happen for too long

'till now I used 3 mainboards: 2 Gigabyte and 1 ASRock, no problems on any of them, even with premature bios, this week I'll get a Maximus VI Hero (my main mobo) and I'll give you a shout about that if I ever have any problem!

Congrats Dino, beastly OC as usual
