  1. The bios was provide from MSI. The results is not similar...only similar was I tell to the guys to downclock BCLK to run CT. The 55X CPU is not a good CPU...if was... I did better score His RAM ran better than mine. His bios was better than mine. Blablabla again. I never shared nothing, only knowledge. Don't talk what you can not prove, only to get a place that you did not earn at this time. I do not need to post anything more...so...you will not prove what is not real...so...I am going to Tw and Gnidaol will go too, because he earned himself. That's all
  2. Is really sad to know is happen. 1- Gnidaol ran better memory than mine (why I did not use better settings???...because my bios do not allow me to change any timing...because I need to use XMP_ 2- Why Gnidaol used best BIOS and latest than mine??? Because I did not have chance to use, since I killed my motherboard. 3- Why we used Corsair GTX3? Because I work to Corsair and Corsair gave me to use and Gnidaol do reviews for me to my website 4- Why Gnidaol have a 1650 Card? Because I did travel to MIAMI, to buy 3 videocards Lightning "that I BOUGHT" directly from MSI...and I selled one. What's the problem????.... 1- motherboard is diferent 2- we have 3 videocards and can prove 3- Motherboard BIOS is diferent 4- SSDs is diferent (2 diferent brands) 5- Operacional system is diferent 6- Latency is diferent (I never want to use 132 latency if I can run better). What is similar???.... the CPU clock??? OMG...is the best CPU you can find in Brazil 55X... I have no one CPU...and Overheat borrow me his one. I think is enought... Just please..."you that told we SHARED RESULT", please prove ...because I really don't like this king of insinuations. I am not worry...and is serious... P.S. 1 more thing... MSI provide the gnidaol motherboard for free to review 2 more thing I did travel Brazil to USA and got the lightnings there... Why don't you ask to MSI (Shirley). To me is just cleared
  3. Thanks Will be really nice to travel together 3 friends to TW. Congratz Splave and Gnidaol...
  4. Não tem Big Bang no Mercado Livre e nem em qualquer distribuidor ou revenda nacional... A Big Bang para este benchmark é a Big Bang II,..., a Big Bang I não serve pois não roda socket 2011
  5. Thanks for all friends here... Few hour to confirm a place. If is confirmed, I will be happy to be there to meet overclockers friends in Tw. Best regards for all
  6. I really tried to do a good job to qualify me for the MOA. First, when I ran SuperPi on Z68, after open the Control Center, the motherboard died and took along my best 2600k. So I needed a super result in 3Dmark11. I got in a gray market (not legal import) a MSI X79 GD65, but the board was lots of problems. Sometimes recognized quad channel, but in the midst of testing was with dual channel. For no reason, stopped in the BIOS posts 60 or 67 and all too often, turn on and off immediately with BIOS FF post. I got a friend from msolutions (reseller) another MSI X79 GD65 that he used for his own use. We had a very good session with the board and I had got a very good result (for the first session and the first time I had touched on the motherboard). I got 14,902 points, but was using 3DMark11 version 1.03 (which admittedly gives worse scores), not knowing that this competition could use version 1.01. http://3dmark.com/3dm11/3353814 There were 15 LN2 liters for me, and I changed the version of 3Dmark11. Only had time to adjust the machine with almost same settings we had used and step by step increased the score a lit bot to 15,062. Just out of nowhere for no reason, the other day the motherboard is not turned on. The motherboard was dead (OMG). Before turn off in its last session, I was careful to return the settings to non-aggressive, but the next day, the motherboard would turn on and turn off without no reason. I searched far and wide across Brazil and did not find any GD65 or a Big Bang to continue trying. I decided to call MSI in Brazil, and had a disappointing response 'it still not arrived in Brazil yet, so we have no X79 GD65 and no Big Bang". I begged for some help, said he was willing to pay for a UPS or FedEx to get a board, but the answer was negative. Also with great difficulty, had to borrow my friend overheat, a 3930K that did 55X (not lots of stabile, but ok), still afraid of killing the preciousness of him. To give you an idea, I have never tested an Ivy Bridge, and I am eager to have one in hand, which shows how difficult things are here. I did not binned nothing of these components...except the 2600K I really looked for, but just easy to buy and sell in Brazil. Sometimes I'm sad to know that in Brazil, a country so large and so much potential, companies still not invest in people. I would love to buy from Newegg, Microcenter, Frys, CompUSA, Ebuypower, and many others and have access to things that are weapons and tools needed to all overclockers. I would like not have pay U$ 6 a liter of LN2 (in a countro where "minimum salarium is U$320) and don't need to wait for ... 3 ... 4 or 5 days to receive LN2 to do a session ... or not need to order one week advance to do a session. The effort that we have to do to get things done is really quite large, and people who know me from other countries, know the "party" I do when I travel to countries like Taiwan and the United States and bring to my country, things that we can not buy here (from a simple wired wrap to solder to processors, thermometers, motherboards and things that make us so delighted with prices far below what we paid). Anyone who knows me knows I'm a simple person and spent more $ than I can, in love with this activity that I like so much. I am not complaining about our situations, the reason I am talking this is for those who thought that we, the Latin Americans would not have the technical knowledge to go to the finals, and even to win, just like to prove them wrong and that despite our worst conditions (pc parts , nitrogen, prices, etc.) , I strongly believe in the ability of many Latin American talent that each day has more to magnify our community. My sincere congratulations to Splave, which is a great overclocker, a very nice guy and very well loved in the community, because he really deserves to be champion because he is a champion. Only want people think about if we had had the same conditions, "perhaps" the result was different. Not taking the merits of the champion, the requirements to be champion are: Knowledge, Luck, components. For us, it is leaving the desired item components. I hope I can hold a place to be there. Best regards from Brazil
  7. I hope so friend.... Still have monster score from Splave.... and good overclockers that I think has back up scores.. Duke, FTW, Gnidaol, Nacho, Redmax, Loud Sil3nc3 and others.
  8. I submited before, but I don't know why it was not in MOA ranking yet. Looking forward to final results to know if I can be inside the finals... I hope so...
  9. @@ more than 500K is nice... I can not wait to try Ivy Bridge...still not touched one....lol
  10. I really liked you overclocking job friend. I hope we can overclock together at MOA... I think my result will be enough at least to top 3, because I have no more motherboard to bench (I killed all...lol)
  11. Excellent as usual... this score with 5000 Mhz @@ I can imagine with 56X
  12. Thanks Massman! Please fix this other: http://hwbot.org/submission/2280770_ I posted 2 days before to MOA and still not in the ranking. Thanks in advance P.S. Question If I post result 3 hours before competition ends (MOA), and result not update in 3 hours, it will be valid?...(what is important...to be posted or updated by hwbot?) Sorry the broken english
  13. I send the score to MOA, and still not updated. http://www.hwbot.org/submission/2281319_ Please fix the problem and add to a Competition... Thanks
  14. Great job man... you beat me... I have no more chances ... Congratz to #1 @ looks like new driver rocks ...
  15. My work to MOA just ended.... I looked for new X79 to try to improve my results, but is not available in all Brazil... 3DMark11 result is really needed to decide the winners... I hope my results is enough to earn a ticktet to TW.
  16. + 1 Me4Me I think they are right...they helped people that have no acess to Ivy Before;;;
  17. Don't worry Splave, I have no more work here. My 2600K be killed by the Z68-GD80....and unfortunately, after the board is death, I did test the CPU in the Maximus 5 Gene and CPU melt a socket pin (thats completely unlucky). Gnidaol just explained and same to me. Here we have lots and lots of issues... since motherboard death alone, to "vanish" RAM channel, to stop in BIOS post 60 (alone) ... to "do not work sometimes in stock" ... etc ... etc ... etc. I think can be "mine" 2 units... or the units (or serial) that comes to Brazil, because Gnidaol got lots of issues too. "binning 60 chips on my newegg credit card..." .... that's a dream no all Brazilian people that like hardware to buy on Newegg...thats really a hardware paradise we can not buy @splave excellent job as usual; I hope I can get a place to MOA ans see you there.... ATM I have no a great 3DM11 score and after look for a MSI X79 in all Brazil and noticed it is not available in all country. Congratz
  18. Nice as usual XYALA... Overclocking TV is the best
  19. Yes...I got the Lightning, but unfortunately I lose 2 x boards X79 GD65 that death alone... not recommended ever
