  1. Heh I shoulda posted to say it was out... been fiddling with it for a few minutes myself.

Love the new style, the new validate feature.

Graphics tab is bare, people should still stick to GPUz

I agree on the size issue - it's pants for screenshotting on small resolutions.

Need a CPU/Mem tab with it all in one.

  2. Q1) Yes correct x500 only

Q2) As you probably know, there are other things in GPUz that distinguish the card from an x500 and an x300 - like speed, memory, ram type, bus length etc. So if you post in the wrong area, and people are competing in that area, they'll notice you've put it in the wrong category and it'll be flagged and moved.

Q3) Vigilance of people competing in that area.

  3. Im borrowing some stuff in a while, but its from a guy who doesnt bench, so its not an issue,

This is what I came to the conclusion with - you can use it if it's not yours if the person (or company) who owns it doesn't intend to bench.

Massman and pt1t used stuff owned by Gigabyte/Intel, but Gigabyte/Intel not going to use it for benching themselves. As long as only one of them posts the score, then it's fine. It doesn't have to be posted under a joint name - only one of them needs to post it.

If someone else and I did some benching, any scores we got would be valid, but as long as only one of us submits it, then it's in the rules.

At least that's how I've interpreted it.

  4. jmke: I wasnt sure what the requirements were for hwbot integration but I guess this one wont cut it ;) Still looks like a nice app though

Get it to have a 1-button test (like wPrime) that just runs a test. But the test should do something other than wPrime (the TSP looks interesting).

Then some form of checksum checking system for online submission, or direct HWBot submission like wPrime. Sorted.

The program looks interesting for sure ;)

  5. I'm benching a processor which my mobo recognises, CPU-Z 1.49 recognises correctly, but CPU-Z 1.51 thinks is a different model (which HWBot doesn't have, but the model exists according to Wiki). Do I submit the CPU-Z 1.51 verification to the correct model I know it is, and put CPU-Z 1.49 in all my benchmarks, or wait until the latest CPU-Z recognises it correctly? Going to email CPU-Z about the issue in due course.
