  1. Ok, here we go, same driver, same LOD-settings, same run order:

Funny enough, details can be shown normally...:)

is this a legal pic????? Not trying to call anyone out would just love it if this could count for points because I cant shake large.txt error

  2. using the asus p8p67 le bios 1003 is GREAT pretty sure I can max out this humble board with it with previous bios could not even pass 4.6 now I can boot in @52 and still room to raise the bclk in os. Not stable there but thats another story. Thanks for your help/info

  3. after more tweaking still cant figure out the value to be stable. Tried .125 and It booted up and forced the chip to use one core. Anything over wont boot up at all and I dont want to try anything over 2.0 not knowing more. But I think I am just dropping turbo like the p6 boards did. Im guessing as soon as I hit 255 watts it drops turbo.

If any mods catch this please move to sandybridge section im a dumb dumb and missed it when I posted.

  4. Can someone please explain this setting to me I cant make sense of it. Mobo is p867 Le pretty sure it is what is making my cpu downclock during benches though...........

So far max clock that will pass vantage is 5.05

max clock that will pas without downclocking is 4.7 have passed without downclocking at higher speeds but its really hit or miss.

Anyone know the default setting my board does not let me see. How does this setting work with ppl overvolt??

Could be lowend board vrm but still would like to know.

Vcore @ 5.05 is 1.5 - 1.54 more does not help less freezes

Temps @ load usually around 72 never over 76 yet

thanks if you need more info let me know.

  5. loosen up your timings to 5-5-5-15 and go 1 notch up from stock voltage start there. No one can really say for sure how to push further without more info. Maybe post bios screenshot. Could be your nb voltage or vtt there are alot of things to take into consideration. you should be able to push further, but like others have stated the stock cooler for those is terrible. That is an extremly hot chip. good luck

  6. I got a pair of evga gtx460 se cards and I am having some trouble unlocking the voltage. Pretty sure that fermi bios editor is not going to be available to the public if I am wrong let me know.

I unlocked the voltage ushing nibitor 5.9 and nvflash and it worked just fine I can now raise the vcore up to 1.215 using nvidia inspector opposed to the default 1.075. The only problem is that after I flashed the bios to the new one I cannot pass futuremarks system info scan so I cant run any benches. When I used nibitor to edit the bios it came up as an unsupported bios so I had to edit it by switching the device id to evga 460 1gb and then rescanned the bios, after that I could use the fermi voltage adjustment to unlock the voltage. After that I switched the device id back to the unsupported bios and then flashed. That is the only way I could get an edited bios to stick. I just wanna get these cards ready to freeze. Any input would be great.

    Thanks ReggieSanchez

  7. Not sure what to do about this but I saved a bunch of screens and they were saved into a rtf filetype. I found a few programs that claim to convert these files but none have worked yet. They are far from record breaking submissions but would like points for them. I tried to open them in windows wordpad and had to shrink the picture so you could see what was required. Here is a example http://www.hwbot.org/community/submission/1058571_ That is the only one I have submitted so far but I would really like to submitt the rest. They are all 2d benches with an e7500 @ 5ghz or above. I have a valid cpuid submitted if that helps proove validity. Not sure what to do next any advice.

    Thanks
