i submitted this under N830 processor because its the closest thing to chose. X920 is really the same chip except a 11.5x multiplier instead of 10.5x

So if we dont have a "gigabyte" video card can we just use the onboard video from our gigabyte motherboard?

mr. scott. could you share how you raised the voltage on your socket a processor? Ive been searching the web, my a7n8x-vm doesnt have the option in the bios, i must resort to pin mod. At this point I dont know if its my cpu or motherboard holding me back. anything over 178mhz fsb or 2517mhz cpu speed. maybe more voltage or maybe its fsb... i read the 166fsb xp 3200+ chips didnt support higher fsb speeds?

I ll post a submission tomorrow. i was trying to get 350 out of the setup. I read I can do pin mods on my socket a athlon and overclock further -- so im going to try some of those.

the highest score ive got so far is 344. amd socket a xp 3200+ overclocked 2517mhz. MSI geforce 4000 mx. 330mhz gpu/287mhz memory

im bummed, my geforce 4 is direct 7 and 3dmark03 wont run full benchmarks. just the wings of fury.

thats not very old school... i use to have an asrock 939dual, it was a great board for me...

Processor is listed as a sempron 140 but the score seems high for his hardware. In his description it says Phenom II 550 BE, so I believe it was just a typo/error on the submission.

Why is the processor listed as a sempron when its clearly a core i7?
