I found the root of my "d6" problem - No PCIE power connection to the video card. Doh! It's pretty easy to miss those little black PCIE receptacles at the back end of the video card, especially in a dark case.

I'm having the same problem with the same mobo on a new build. This is my first PC build, so I thought it was my error. Does this mean the motherboard is bad? I'm not sure how to proceed from this point.
