  1. Did you mod cpu or mobo to support PIII-S? I failed to make PIII-S with mods run on CUSL2, although it still works in TUSL2. Modded Celly 1.1 1.5v works fine. But modded Celly 1.1 1.475 doesn't. Dunno what to do - don't want to mod motherboard.

With my cusl2 there is the same problem.

    sl6bx,sl6by,sl6c8 no problems,with a celeron 1.3 ta1 no problems,with a sl6c7...crash,reboot,is hard open windows,impossible close superpi 1m.

    Why?I don't know...my mod is kills 3 pin,not bridge.

    @ludek111

    recently i test max fsb 133:100 of my cusl2,is capable of 223 superpi 1m,but i have not a good memory so 167 3 3 3 7 9 is very hard,i had a cusl2-c capable of 190 superpi 1m stable.

cusl2-c is not good for high fsb but

    1)test in 66:100 your max pci/agp stable

2)133:100 is better of 133:133,may be your limit is the ram and not the mainboard.

    3)

I have used cusl with this mod in my wr frequency. The bridge don t needed

    Wr frequency....sborone :D

  2. http://web.archive.org/web/20011106002035/http://holicho.lib.net/bn_02.htm

    with foto.

And he dont bench sl6by bcz available in 2002. Japan mans bench P4 after 1266 in 2001.

    http://www.cpu-world.com/sspec/SL/SL6BY.html

The parts are available starting from Jul 22, 2002

    OMG...

If also the sl5XX spec are avariable starting 2002,there is a reason for choice of 1.266.

    OMG²

  3. >pc100@219 2 2 2 7 9...bh-5?lol

Why not? My pc133@202 2-2-2-7-9 or Gigio's pc133@210 2-2-2-7-9 would be also "hard to beleive" 1 year ago.

The score is of 2001,in that time there was few people on ln2 on the cpu, this man had cpu and ram on ln2?he's a genius...

But this genius...did not think sl6by is better for superpi?

    @ gradus and @ terra:you have a mission,destroy this record :D

    Uff...find it :)

http://holicho.lib.net/bn_02.htm (pretty much at the middle of the page right under the 59s picture)

The stock rating ins't usually a precise meter of the overclocking ability of a chip :)

If these rams are really able to do 200 2225 @ air I don't see why shuldn't be able to do 220 @ LN2

    ...219mhz 2 2 2 5 7...incredible!!!

  4. Here you can find the translation in italian http://translate.google.it/translate?hl=it&sl=ja&tl=it&u=http%3A%2F%2Fholicho.lib.net%2Fbench%2Fbench_104.htm

...but doesen't specify the latency of the ram.

Gradus (just a couple of post above) confirmed that latency e frequency were 22257 1:1 219 cooled by LN2.

Also there is the italian translation for the database http://translate.google.it/translate?hl=it&sl=ja&tl=it&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ace-sup.com%2Fmemory%2Fmtec.html

    This score is very strange,I don't understand if the memory is 1:1 or 4:3,may be 1:1 with 2 2 2 7 9.

    pc100@219 2 2 2 7 9...bh-5?lol

  5. I still dont post my new 200 10.5 result.

    "Difference between 2 2 2 7 9 and 2 2 2 5 7 is not 1-2s,but 4-5s."

    1 second. on 2300-2500mhz mb 1.5-2s.

I think you must study socket 370 better. Leave your results to yourself, I'm not interesed in them.

I see a difference of a 4/5s with a coppermine, may be is different with tualatin.

    Hello guys,

I'm sorry to intrude again but I find something that you may find interesting.

First:this is the complete setup that Holicho used for sub 1m

    2hqw8ly.jpg

I think that he was 1:1 whit the mems at 22257 or (more probably) 22279

I made a reaserch for those mems (mtec 0103u) and came up with this table (in japanese)

    http://www.ace-sup.com/memory/mtec.html

If I've understood it correctly those mems should be able to do 200+ mhz 22257 on air.

I think those tests were made with air cooling beacuse the result of the mems i have experiece with are -pretty much- the same of mine.

...so if you are looking for the holy grail of SDRAM those should be the real deal.

Also that site is a great database for sdram frequency.

    Hope I was helpful :)

    Good link,thank's.

But,are you sure than ram was 1:1 and not 4:3?I don't understand japanese.

  6. again, 230*9.5 4:3 bad setup. impsy sub 1m with it. only 245+ x9.5 pos norm, dunno.

    230x10.5 4:3 impsy sub 1m too imo.

    in 2008 i test sl6by and 200 1:1 22279 faster then 228 4:3 22279. 1.05+ and 1.07+. no copywaza and bad win. difference 2s. diff between 22279 and 22257 is 1-2s.

    so i think for 10.5x:

    200 1:1 22279 = 230 4:3 22257

normal result pos only with fsb 245+ and 57. for 1400 p3 its impsy hard, for 1266 p3 very pos. but i dunno about time.

    PS "but 172 2 2 2 5 7 is better then 230 3 3 3 7 9" - NO!

    ...do you remember when you said " 200*10,5 1:1 2 2 2 7 9 = 100% sub1m "?...200 is not sufficient for 1m.

I think you must study better socket 370,now your scores are as your knowledge of this socket.

    Difference between 2 2 2 7 9 and 2 2 2 5 7 is not 1-2s,but 4-5s.

We speak about right alphatimings for high frequency, but if you don't know the normal timings...

  7. very good time ! the challenge continues...

Ruggero ,is time to post all your submissions...

    Gigio,is time to buy a good SL6BY

PS:my best score is 1.00.7xx :D I have not other scores.

    you're talking about socket 478 462 ;-) . s370 it s impossible...

my 1266 ES is a sl5... is good only for reference o memory clock ...

    but i think super P at 230 cl3 with a good 1266 sl6 is possible...

    230*9,5 is a easy setup,with a good sl6by 230*10.5 is possible,but 172 2 2 2 5 7 is better then 230 3 3 3 7 9,more fast,more possible:there is not a sdram capable of 3 3 3 7 9 but there are more sdram capable of 172 2 2 2 5 7.

Perhaps russian overclockers don't trust the italian overclockers:when I said "when I said 200 is not sufficient for 1 minute" I have not been believed...this is not good ;-)

  8. I hope not to hear cool story next time that you had 250 2-2-2-5-7 memory, unlocked cpu with x12 multi being capable of 3ghz and sub 50s result)

Anyway this result is the best here (as well as pifast dd yesterday).

    ahahhaha,my friend,no super ram,no super cpu,no super main,today I have only a cusl2 and a SL36A,but is not dangerous.

    Gigio(the idea of joke is of gigio)has a memory capable of 208/210 2 2 2 7 9 with -50° and the right alphatimings,but he have not a sl6by.

    It's all ;-)

  9. As you said, when ~2.0 V and tualatin @benchmarks, default power section is overheating easly. I had an idea to connect Zombie to TUSL2... and for few months i'm collecting Pentium 3 (0.18 and 0.13 um). It will be lots of fun, but for now - only SS cooling.

Very nice score. Hope to see sub 1 min :)

Try to use IHS from 478 or tualatin CPU. Wilamettes are the easiest to cut :)

There is yet a score sub 1 min,in fact my time is not wr.

The sl6by have a IHS,is not necessary another...the problems was for other motivations

    1)cpu pot lost nitrogen :D

2)ram pot had was too fast,-100°,-40°,-80° and my sdram have coldbug,-55° in my cusl2,-65° in my tusl2-c (???)

In these conditions was hard bench,so,a run a 195,a run a 200 and a run a 205...208 freeze(cusl2);after one hour I tried with my tusl2-c,but freeze around 202 with -65°,A year has passed, I do not remember well :-(

I promised myself another bench when someone beat my time, but in italy the times are hard and I sold almost everything :-(

I have played a little with terra,I don't say immediately my best time,I hope he is not angry with me :D overclock is only a hobby

  10. Photo 3 - Asus ROG OC Panel - acting like thermometer (left for cpu, right - for memory)

Photo 4 - top view of the system with EVGA Epower soldered instead of stock vrm.

Wow,it's the first time which I see the Evga Epower and the asus rog oc panel...Now I understand what's the emod power :D

My best score is 1.00.7xx at 205,but I had more problems with ln2 pot,i think with my sdram is possible 208 2 2 2 7 9 with a thermal regolation around -50°;also a better s.o. can give my a hand with the time, but my run is only for fun,for this is not in hwbot.

    In my idea,and is not the first time which i write this,1:1 is not the right way to take the wr 1m 370,way of 4/3 fsb/ram is better,find a lucky sl6by or a normal 1.266 and try 230/172 2 2 2 5 7.

  11. you very serius man....very....

PS and i answer to you on XS. i wrote that i use another board for vcore! need scren of that?

PSS and i very haha on this post) plz dont do another post like this) i very like that mans pushing s370 and we have some competition here. i dont benching 2-3years, and now im here only for s370.

    PSSS 1m and cpu-z GOGOGO

Gigio has corrected the setup for help you,but now please stop flame ok?
