It was very nice to meet you, guys. Where will be our next meeting? Had anyone link to to Hiwa's girlfriend facebook? She had good fotos of OCers alltogether at Zotac cocktail party. --- Some fotos from me: Nick and Smoke @ ASRock Hiwa and SuicidePhoenix @ G.Skill SoF and NeoForce @ Cocktail party (Thx to Zotac) NeoForce, Smoke and Slamms @ Italian restaurant (Thx to G.Skill)
-
Very nice pot, as usual. --- Will be in Hannover at 6 AM tomorrow. It would be nice to meet so many OC legends in one place.
-
I will be there at 7.03 and 8.03 with my teammates NeoForce (big thx for tickets), Smoke and Slamms. Nice to meet so many OC legends in one place.
-
Then please organise categories for it. It is the reason of this ticket, not my 0.5 pt submissions.
-
Then, no. But other changes need to be done: 1. All submission from category HD 2000 must be moved to HD3000 (2500K or 2600K processor) or in HD 1000 (other SB processor). 2. HD 3000 category must be renamed to HD 3000 (2500K and 2600K) to clear, that 2500K has HD 3000, dispite of CPU-Z's "HD 2000 (GT2)" name. 3. Empty category HD 2000 must be removed and category HD 1000 must be named "HD 2000" or "HD 2000 (Sandy Bridge)", to clear, that all other processors have HD 2000, dispite of CPU-Z's "HD 1000 (GT1)" name. 4 All new results must be moved in 2 different categories, based on processor type, not CPU-Z or GPU-Z name. It is all as i see it.
-
It is merely a name gived by CPU-Z creators. And now it is category name too. Intel talks about HD3000 and HD2000 only. If you make 2 categories according Intel marketing names - then OK, but now it is too complex for us all.
-
I'v send PM to Massman with all the story and links. Now i am waiting.
-
So, CPU-Z naming schema wins the round. Is it final decision? Then, please move all 2500K results from "HD 3000 (2600K)" back to "HD 2000 (2500K)" category, including my results, that was moved there by Christian Ney yesterday. http://hwbot.org/submission/2208200_rush_3dmark2001_se_gma_hd_3000_32460_marks http://hwbot.org/submission/2208234_rush_3dmark03_gma_hd_3000_16129_marks http://hwbot.org/submission/2208237_rush_3dmark05_gma_hd_3000_11840_marks http://hwbot.org/submission/2208241_rush_aquamark_gma_hd_3000_82142_marks http://hwbot.org/submission/2208256_rush_3dmark_vantage___performance_gma_hd_3000_3694_marks http://hwbot.org/submission/2208255_rush_unigine_heaven___basic_preset_dx9_gma_hd_3000_322.68_dx9_marks

I have submitted a HelpCenter ticket on this illogical situation with categories. Now i'm waiting for moderators reaction. http://www.hwbot.org/forum/helpcenter.php?do=ticket&tid=1411 -
Ticket ID: 1411 Priority: Medium Currently we have 3 categories for actualy 2 (or 4, it depens on certain conditions) types of integrated graphics in Sandy Bridge processors. 1. IG of 2600K processor have 12 cores, Quick Sync support, 1350 Mhz turbo limit. Shows as "Intel GMA HD 3000 (GT2+)" in CPU-Z. Shows as HD 3000 by Intel graphic drivers. 2. IG of 2500K processor have 12 cores, Quick Sync support, 1100 Mhz turbo limit. Shows as "Intel GMA HD 2000 (GT2)" in CPU-Z. Shows as HD 3000 by Intel graphic drivers. 3. IGs of 2xxx series processors have 6 cores, Quick Sync support, 1100 Mhz turbo limit. Shows as "Intel GMA HD 1000 (GT1)" in CPU-Z. Shows as HD 2000 by Intel graphic drivers. 4. IGs of Pentium Gxxx processors have 6 cores, no Quick Sync support, 1100 Mhz turbo limit. Shows as "Intel GMA HD 1000 (GT1)" in CPU-Z. Shows as HD 2000 by Intel graphic drivers. Source. On the point of overclocking, IGs of 2600k and 2500k are identical. Maximum graphic turbo limit is on both unlockend and manualy controlled on H67 and Z68 chipsets. So, when CPU-Z shows "HD 3000 (GT2+)" or "HD 2000 (GT2)" - both must be placed in "Intel GMA HD 3000" category. On other two sorts of IGs: AFAIK, no modern benchmark depends on or uses Intel Quick Sync technology, so IGs of Core-ix without K and Pentium Gxxx are identical for them and they must be placed in same category "Intel GMA HD 2000", disregard CPU-Z's "Intel GMA HD 1000 (GT1)" name. But, if it is OK, that we have 3 categories named after CPU-Z names, then moderators must move all results, that is not on 2500k in HD 2000 category to HD 1000 category and for now on follow the simple rule: 2600k - HD 3000 2500K - HD 2000 other Sandy Bridge - HD 1000

Nope. There is a difference between Intel marketing names HD2000 and HD3000 and actual integrated videocards. IG in 2600k have 12 EUs, supports Intel Quick Sync Technology and have 1350 Mhz turbo limit. Named "Intel HD 3000 (GT2+)" in CPU-Z. IG in 2500k have 12 EUs, supports Intel Quick Sync Technology and have 1100 Mhz turbo limit. Named "Intel HD 2000 (GT2)" in CPU-Z. All other IGs in 2xxx (6 EUs, QS supported, TL 1100 Mhz) or in Pentium Gxxx (6 EUs, QS not supported, TL 1100 Mhz) named "Intel HD 1000 (GT1)" in CPU-Z. Here, on HWBot.org, we have 3 categories named after CPU-Z names. So, HD 3000 for 2600k IG, HD 2000 for 2500K IG, HD 1000 for all that not K. Currently there are many submission, that break this simple rule, but it moderators work to ban or move it. -
