CPU frequency is good, but DRAM is my problem -> unable properly set RTLs on apex, it gives 48/49/6/6 on impact, but here i doesnt found bootable combination yet, and this submit is something about 50/56/14/7 eh... -

You need better chip speed. I found best chip few days ago, whitch can do 5,51 ghz XTU 1,6-1,65V, 21c ambient. Doenst have balls push there more even with lower temp, i dont think it will help me here, will se, now its too hot outside, i can push down ambient to 14-15C with AC working all the day, but for lower temp it has to be cold outside like month before.
There is my 1933 run
Doesnt submited it yet, need tweak ram first, it seems harder on apex than on older impact eh..

Karta what happend ? I killed only 3 1155 cpus with defective mb from MSI and few p4/athlons/durons, but never something more "new" and you know, iam crazy experimentater with voltages..

i want ask you, if there is any solution of this bug ?
After instalation TurboVcore, GTL iam geting 300 points drop, uninstall doesnt help, another version doesnt help, only fresh system works.
Z170 Impact
Z270 Apex
Z270 Gigabyte (small wifi + gaming9)
always same.
Also doesnt matter windows version (tried 8.1, 10, 32/64)

use 32bit, also 3rd party BLCK tweaking SW often cause XTU bug - hude drop after instalation like GTL, TurboVcore ETC...

Sweet cpu, need above 1,53 here..

Just try to find some OC guide for haswell cpu, you should be able to get 4,5-4,7 Ghz on air with this CPU.
Also run another benchmarks, XTU is about faster RAM config mostly.

All the magic to get temp lower with high vcore is here, i accidently found it few days ago, before i was using +0,45V for a year like every OC guide recommended.
You can try it next time, maybe you can pass 4,65 on 1,5 if you are able to get 4,5 on 1,35v.
My chip is not so special, 4,4 for 1,35, so you should get more here than me.

Fasttrack, i know its risky (i dont care) and thats all about it, iam not scared to try it, its about own research and VCORE is not only voltage witch affect your final temperature. This is really anoing, because every day i read somethink like this is unbeliveable, this is not real, 1,6V ambient 7700K unreal, 4600 mhz on 6950x unreal, it has to be chiller, SS, etc...
But man, i dont care and if you think that 4600 Mhz on performed water is unreal, lets take a look at my personal gaming rig, not in my bench room, but in my living room, under the table with low speed water pump (still doesnt have aquarello and pump work only low speed) with water temp above 35 and heated ambient too 24 - 25 degree (wife loves it) and low speed 2133 mhz ram @ 3000.
Watch and learn, here you have 4,54 ghz 1,53V even with that daily 24/7 rig..
One time, i will take this setup too bench room, after that, you will see 3000 pts +
** when i saw this, i should pump some new water to system lol
And now, its 3.53 AM, hope it is the last time.

And if you are interested in build, there is FS run only CPU tweaked, GPUS +50/+300 -> peak 810W, used PSU doesnt handle more (850G2 Evga)

I cant send you video from this run, iam not a cameraman whitch fanaticaly recording all his life, but okey, here you have video from final build with 1080Ti SLI + bunnying AIO cooler for 120 bucks inside case with water temperature about 35 iddling on 40-45 degree and 1,46 Vcore inside for 4,4 ghz run without throttling whitch i made for customer and new owner of chip..
Compare it with efective loop on default here with ambient 19 C whitch i made for him before final cost solution (39C load, 23 iddle)
And now imagine, how real or not is runn 4600 1,5-1,52V here with ambient 16 at 3 A.M. (15-20c lower iddle and maybe 20-30c lower load compare to AIO)
Also doesnt have screen -> system goes down after submit, but here you can see 4570 picture run PKBO`s XTU score: 2923 marks with a Core i7 6950X

Well done, i think its impossible to catch you, hitting 97 degree on 5450, also it is probably degraded after 10 hours of high voltage, will try Apex soon, but i need also new chip probably.. When you will break 2000?

Nice chip, ram too. Going for Apex too next week, lets see if its better than impact.

Chip degradation with this voltage is another think, it can handle maybe few hours, but after it will degrade. Its choise between points and living CPU there.

Karta, fact that i have some stuff at home, doesnt mean that I have to using it. Here you can see 1.6 - 1,68 AVX 7700k load without throtling on 16C room ambient

I think you have better one, you get 5450 with less voltage. This is true peak - 97C is near throttle..

I have best RTLs when using 3733 divider, 12-12-12-28 gives me 49-51, tWCL 10 and tCKE 6 set, you can tweak IO RTL to 6
Thanks, but i have a problem set anything, i cant write 50/51 7/7 ets, but after boot into win, it stuck 659/61 etc.. This make me mad.

Thank you, its L643, beating my previous binned L639 for more than 100mhz. Funny is, that this was normal retail chip bought used from soneone who never overclocked it for 250 bucks..
