Hey guys. I just got a I3 4360 and tried it in my Impact board but all I get at boot is a 00 code. I updated my bios to 1402 and still get the 00 boot code. I can get into bios and I even tried the default settings. But when I exit the bios I still get the 00 code. Any ideas? Do I need a Z97 board?

LN2 mode on?

 

I had a similar issue when using the board on air and forgetting to switch the LN2 mode back off.

Ah yes it is. I'll try that. I forgot it was on.

Well thanks for the suggestion. But it still goes to 00 after save and reset.

 

My 4340 works just fine. Weird....did I get a bad cpu I wonder?

After about 6 failed flash attempts I finally got it to work. Somehow. But then after booting to windows I got a black screen. I ended up reinstalling windows.. doing updates atm. I'll bounce back with results.

Well it's kind of ok now. One issue is that when I do a restart form windows the things cycles through the bios twice before finally booting to the OS. It will cycle to 00 shut down, cycle to 00 shut down, then it will boot to windows. But from a full shut down it boots right to the OS. Seems a bit odd to me.
