BIOS modifications for Gigabyte EP45-UD3P

Hey guys,

Is there any software out there that'll allow me to modify it in an attempt to get my D9GKX modules to work? The board never POSTs with the modules installed but it works with D9GHM based modules.

It's a nightmare and being a Rev 1.0, I can't even get the most up-to-date BIOS installed. I know these modules can do 600MHz 4-4-4-4 but they just do not want to play ball on this board, at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've tried a BIOS editor but it fails to load the BIOS correctly and as such corrupts it. There's only one out there that I can see as well. It's an AWARD BIOS if that helps.

Thank you.

Never mind. Turns out that the RAM didn't return to me in the same way it left me. It's dead and there's a burnt smell on one of the PCBs. I hope that the freezer will bring them back to life but I seriously have my doubts.

That's what I originally thought too, Christian.

However... guess what? It worked!! Both modules are now sitting on the desktop at 1066MHz 4-4-4-12 (stock)! :D

Time to get rid of my D9GHM modules and use these ones until they die forever.
