good 4790k most wanted

Featured Replies

Hy guys,

i search a 4790k, 5ghz @ under 1,35v (where possible tested with prime)

the cpu must be shipped to germany.

I know it isn't what you're after, but my chip I got from Denis (from here) does 4.8GHz at ~1.325v. It's too warm right now to test with Prime, but it lasts a fair while before crashing at 1.3v so 1.325v should be rock solid.

It is able to do 5GHz Super Pi 32M at 1.25v on XP (not tested by me) if that matters.

Note: it has been de-lidded and it has CLU applied between the core. It was then resealed. This job wasn't done by me, but rather someone in Germany (not the guy I bought it from). It is a retail chip, with the box, and it should be able to pass Intel RMA should you need to. I'm not guaranteeing that though, so please be aware of that.

Is that of any use to you?

I'm guessing it is of no use. It was worth a try.
