i5 6500 OC questions

Alright guys, I have an i5 6500 non-k. I just am testing the waters on OCing these chips.

Asus ROG Maximus VIII Hero board (with the non-K OC bios)

i5 6500 processor

Cryorig R1 Ultimate cooler

Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 C14 RAM

And I currently have it set as follows:

BLK at 138 (4416 clock)

Core voltage at 1.325

Ram is around 3100 mhz

I have had Prime 95 1344K running for an hour and my package temps hit a peak of 56*c and average of 42*c

Can I take this higher or just leave it as is?

Everything I have read here says to keep package temps under 70*c, but this thing is hardly breathing heavy right now at those temps, am I correct??

Thanks in advance for the help!!!

Well, for anyone interested I ended up at the following:

BLCK set at 142 (4544 clock)

Core Voltage at 1.35

RAM around 3200 mhz

RAM voltage at 1.35

I also ended up finding peak/stable OC on my Asus Strix GTX 1070 card and ended up at the following:

+225 MHZ clock on the core (2126 MHZ)

+1100 on the RAM (9102 MHZ)

100% Core Voltage

112% Power Limit

92* C temp limit (never seen over 55*c in benchmark, or 50*c in gaming)

Overall, VERY happy with how it game out. I think there is more to be had with the RAM, as I havent done anything with it except select what I wanted the speed at.

Package temp peak seen so far is 63*c when running 3D Mark benchmark.
