coiotHK Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 The igp in question is from this mobo: ASRock > K7S41GX GPU-Z doesn't say anything about it... Quote
Crew Strunkenbold Posted February 20, 2017 Crew Posted February 20, 2017 If GPU-Z doesnt work, please use AIDA. SiS 315 128bit @ HWBOT Quote
coiotHK Posted February 21, 2017 Author Posted February 21, 2017 I found another driver,AIDA screenshot: Anyway,if i bench it where do i put it? Here >? SiS 330 @ HWBOT Quote
Crew Strunkenbold Posted February 21, 2017 Crew Posted February 21, 2017 Well to make it clear, our db is huge mess and has duplicate categories. This is also because programs arent able to detect this stuff properly. Some sources say its SiS 315: VGA Legacy MKIII - SiS 741GX (315) I dont know why AIDA shows this as SiS330, maybe its wrong. Maybe other programms say something different. Tried HWinfo? Quote
Crew Antinomy Posted February 22, 2017 Crew Posted February 22, 2017 SiS 330 is Mirage. So this is the right category: SiS Mirage @ HWBOT Strunkenbold, been studying intergrated categories for the last week, big mess over there. There are things to be cleaned up. Quote
Crew Strunkenbold Posted February 22, 2017 Crew Posted February 22, 2017 So is there a mistake on that pages here? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silicon_Integrated_Systems VGA Legacy MKIII - SiS 741GX (315) Both claim they use SiS 315 core? For me it looks like they used "mirage" for various chips. Not sure if that should be the official marketing name?? Anyway its the question how we want to "sort" those stuff, I saw the mess but just have no idea how we bring that in shape. Especially when problems like this appear. Quote
Crew Antinomy Posted February 22, 2017 Crew Posted February 22, 2017 I'll send you a PM in the morning ;-) Yes, those pages are wrong, I've done some study today. Quote
Crew Strunkenbold Posted February 22, 2017 Crew Posted February 22, 2017 Great to see you back, thx for the clarification. Ill add a task on asana. Quote
