W/out any games running, XTU only, my XPS 8700 with i7-4770, which is still a Top 10 Common CPU on Passmark, showed current limit throttling, I presume because Dell (in their poop wisdom), provided only one CPU power connector. When most MB's has two, and when tested on my ASRock Z97 Extreme6 (had to borrow until my i5-4690K came in), no more throttling of any type. Had it not been a locked CPU, could had gotten a higher score, although took what I could get & run.
