MrCape Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 So I have an old 486dx chip that can run win95 at best. I can run superpi and chkcpu. CPUZ is a no go according to Franck@x86. What can I submit for this chip? Quote
WoOx3r[Pt] Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 any 486dx runs smooth windows 98SE i know by experience, i've installed the Windows XP Sp3 on an overclocked k5 pr133 @ 112.5mhz it was very slow on all the tasks but when i've adjusted it for best performance it was only a bit slow to boot but pretty fast after that and the calculation tests ran better with XP installed. maybe a 486dx with a 64+ mb memory runs well tinyXP, you should try.
