Omega-man Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Hello everyone. Very interesting submission indeed http://hwbot.org/submission/2224197_michu_superpi___1m_am486dx2_66_55min_46sec_952ms Is it normal that DX4 cpu persist in DX2-submission? As i know am486dx2-66 can't run on 3x multiplier, it's hardwired on 2x without any chance to change. Quote
Crew Strunkenbold Posted June 6, 2019 Crew Posted June 6, 2019 Isnt it possible that he runs his CPU with 50Mhz FSB? Its kinda hard but should be doable. I really wouldnt trust cpuchk, as its possibly kinda confused with the configuration. Anyways Im open for other opinions. Quote
liq_met Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Before you argue it is necessary to analyze: https://hwbot.org/submission/2224197 multiplier can not be 3.1 and bus 33 or programm counts to 104 inaccurate https://hwbot.org/submission/4047576 multiplier 2,5*33 https://hwbot.org/submission/2958515 multiplier 1,5*50 and further 2*40(40 can be?) Crew Strunkenbold Posted June 6, 2019 Crew Posted June 6, 2019 You do your analysis on base of programs that simply never show the correct results except the CPU is at its standard configuration? We talk about an 8 year old result which was made for 2 points and took almost one hour two finish and accuse him that he used a different CPU to be #1 in this category? Really? For me that doesnt make sense. So thats why Im asking if this is physical possible? Those bugged programs doesnt proof anything. IMO Quote
liq_met Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 (edited) Then i`am notice that first screenshot shows CPU as DX4.But second screenshot shows CPU as DX2. This`s all said. IMO IMO ?immunity Please, direct link on true dx4 https://hwbot.org/submission/2991129 , almost 104 mhz. And read a comment https://hwbot.org/submission/2944104 / below: Chkcpu showed wrong speed, Maxspeed is closer. Edited June 7, 2019 by liq_met Quote

Still I don't understand how he could beat my Abit BE6 in SuperPI with only 16Mb and one jumper to operate) without DX4 processor. Mysterious.? Quote
