Gothrek Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 It is about these scores... http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=767928 http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=774236 http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=774309 http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=767926 4 times resolution is hidden, i didnt know this was so important, so i will hunt some scores so everyone gets frustrated.... but if you put some comon sense into the equation, you know those scores are done on the proper resolution i just took screenshots, any 3Dmarks places the score in front of the resolution, i didnt realize, it has to be shown is there any solution for this problem? because i cannot redo some scores Quote

All in such conditions. i know how it should be, as i stated in my previous post, but if you look at these scores with some common sense, you know they are correct How much does the score change from one resolution to another? Just curious... i can redo the test with another resolution if you want Quote

Gothrek Posted September 21, 2008 Author Posted September 21, 2008 There are rules. If I make an exception, there will be a precedent. Rules will lose force. not true, just with any sport a referee has to apply the rules with common sense, if they would blow on their whistle for every fault during football it would be a concert Quote
Chiller Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 wwith me is the same problem, hadn't thought about the resolution of 3dmark to be visible so my scores are also not good. Quote

I have no idea if these scores are "normal", but if the scores are a little bit better than what you'd expect from a normal (not-so-well-tweaked) run, then they should stay blocked. Quote

Gothrek Posted September 21, 2008 Author Posted September 21, 2008 GothrekDur lex sex lex. User is responsible for the screenshot. but you can clearly see the score is valid, i know there are rules, i just forgot one, and all my future screenshots will be fine, but it is evident when you compare my results to other users results, the resolution is fine.... i just forgot 3Dmark places the score in front of the resolution and btw, you might want to replace sex with sed Quote
Gothrek Posted September 22, 2008 Author Posted September 22, 2008 guess nothing will happen after all.... plain sad Quote
Gothrek Posted September 22, 2008 Author Posted September 22, 2008 Gothrek, we are working on a system to have an inbetween option between "ok" and "blocked": "warned". eg. a result which is fine but lacks some minor validation, will be marked as "warned", but no actions will be taken untill the user has received xxx warnings. that would be awesome i will really do my best to make good screenshots from now on Quote
Gothrek Posted October 6, 2008 Author Posted October 6, 2008 @rich any idea how long it will take till this new system is in place? just curious Quote
