Posted October 8, 20213 yr I have a i7 9700k that is currently running 5 Ghz. I have a Patriot Viper Steel 4133 kit (32 GB) that I havent overclocked at all. Its still running at stock speed. When I use the XMP profile, it just messes up the boot and my computer goes into an endless cycle of starting and restarting. I was wondering, for Intel CPUs, is the CPU clock more important than RAM overcl VidMate ock (in terms of performance)? Mobdro If not, how does one decide what timings and speed combos to use? October 8, 20213 yr Crew Set the XMP profile and select ram speed 3600MHz and see if that one is stable. 3600-3800MHz is more than plenty for daily ops.... Which motherboard are we referrring too ?
