413 Request Entity Too Large nginx/1.18.0 (Ubuntu) error when trying to add pics..

I keep getting an error when trying to add pics to a submission. The files are jpegs and don't seem any larger than usual but no matter what I keep getting this error. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Total size of the pictures including the verification screenshot?

the verification screenshot from benchmate is 816kb and the pics i tried to add were 3.7 and 3.9mb

Resize them and try again. Maximum is 4mb, you surpass that
