Hello. I have an i9 10900k in H710 with RTX 4080 on NZXT N7 Z490 motherboard. I don't have watercooling anymore, I use air cooling Deepcool AS500 and I am not getting any good temperatures.

https://hwbot.org/submission/4770929_107021943003584698770_xtu_core_i9_10900k_4127_marks (look in the picture)

I took the settings from here and these seem to be the best for me, but still, when I am gaming, I still get power throttling (csgo/fortnite/elden ring).

I use my cpu cooler at full speed, case's cooler full speed gpu fan speed almost full speed

I set my cpu tj max to 89 because my pc kept shutting down while gaming obviously and disabled all c states.

If anyone can give me the best settings for my CPU in BIOS/XTU (voltage clock etc) to use as I am very confused now since my watercooling has broken, I would appreciate very much. (I don't want to overclock until I get watercooling I just want good gaming experience with normal temperature and best fps) Thanks in advance!

maybe try these settings as starting point

start off with only 50 muliplier on the cpu cores, set AVX2 offset  (-)2x

speeds.png

For gaming no need for Hyperthreading, this should lower temps for sure

HT.png

set CPU Vcore fixed to 1.2

voltages2.png

test these settings and see if you have stable perfomance and better temps.

if so up the CPU muliplier to 52x, retest.   If stable drop Vcore to 1.15 , retest,... till it gets unstable, than add 0.1 Vcore

if unstable at 52x but temps are still okay up the CPU Vcore to 1.25... retest

Find a balance between CPU clock speeds, voltage and temps

my pc doesn't start if I set vcore to 1.2 or 1.15, at 1.25 it is working.

Temps better now ?

settings were similar and I still get thermal throttling on fortnite when gaming. I have a 360hz monitor but the 4080 handles

now the fps and latency seems better though. If you think you can get better temps please help then. I'll give some crypto. Thank you!
