Iziba Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 (edited) Hey guys! I just put together a new computer: EVGA p55 classified 200 board Intel Core i7-870 2.93 Ghz 8gb Patriot dual channel ram Nvidia Geforce 465 superclocked What my problem is (not sure if it's even a problem) is that when I turn my computer on for the first boot up of the day, it comes on, LEDs/fans ect., then powers off for 1-2 seconds, then turns back on and is fully functional for the rest of the day until I have to shut down and restart it back up again. The mobo is making the 3 beeps that indicates everything is okay, and the post codes on the mobo all seem to be in order. Could this possibly be because I have 3 bios profiles and it's power off to load my selected bios? Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks! Edit: For clarification, it starts up, does not post, shuts down for the ~1-2 seconds, then posts like normal. I am also using a 700W power supply if that is of any help. Iziba Posted April 4, 2011 Author Posted April 4, 2011 Never mind, after some additional research I've come to learn that once you go over a bclock of 200 on an EVGA board the double start up cycle is a normal function of the board. Quote
