Hardware Question:

Recommended Posts

Hey guys! I just put together a new computer:

EVGA p55 classified 200 board

Intel Core i7-870 2.93 Ghz

8gb Patriot dual channel ram

Nvidia Geforce 465 superclocked

What my problem is (not sure if it's even a problem) is that when I turn my computer on for the first boot up of the day, it comes on, LEDs/fans ect., then powers off for 1-2 seconds, then turns back on and is fully functional for the rest of the day until I have to shut down and restart it back up again.

The mobo is making the 3 beeps that indicates everything is okay, and the post codes on the mobo all seem to be in order. Could this possibly be because I have 3 bios profiles and it's power off to load my selected bios?

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Thanks!

Edit: For clarification, it starts up, does not post, shuts down for the ~1-2 seconds, then posts like normal. I am also using a 700W power supply if that is of any help.
