veblen
Is it possible to have an option so that each member can download all his/her submissions, complete with screenshots and the like? It can also serve as a sort of backup outsourced to all (interested) members. I ask because I typically delete my screenshots of older bench runs and lately, I've been wondering what would happen (touch wood!) if HWBOT went down for whatever reason. Crew Turrican Posted December 14, 2011 Crew Share Posted December 14, 2011 i wonder why do you delete your scores when you have uploaded it on hwbot?
veblen
I mean I delete old screenshots on my hard drive; they remain on hwbot.
Crew Turrican Posted December 14, 2011 Crew Share Posted December 14, 2011 yeah, but why would you delete them? i never delete them. imagine hwbot has a database crash and everything is away, then you are fcuked. i don't think those screenshots will take so much space on your hdd. seriously, the best is not to delete them. Christian Ney
I guess hardware masters and Pro Benchers keep files and screenshots but casual members may not
veblen
Quite right. I've started saving all my screenshots since I got hooked on benching (it's a huge mess that looks like 1.png, 2.png, 3.png... ). But I don't have my earlier ones (not that they matter since they were crappy anyway). Guess I should start organizing them.

veblen
Wow! That's really organized; thanks for sharing. I'm going to start doing that. It's going to take a while for me though! I'll have to open every single screenshot across multiple drives and folders...that's how disorganized I am.
