cyclone
HDD Tests rock -) How's the PCI-E RAID controller doing? No changes?
mtech
HDD Tests are really bad in comparison with my competitors (~247 HDD General usage in my case vs >600 HDD General Usage). With Adaptec 5805 scores are even worse.
Crew Antinomy Posted September 7, 2010 Crew Share Posted September 7, 2010 Adaptec's controllers were always junk What did you run on I-ram's and what on Acard? How do they perform comparing to each other?
mtech
I used IDE WD800BB as a system drive, 4xI-RAMs+ACARD 9010@ICH10R as PCMark drive. 3xI-RAMs RAID0 performs similar to ACARD 9010 in RAID0 mode: I-RAMs are faster in Virus Scan, but slower in General Usage.
