March 14, 201411 yr hi John it's possible to work on this regulator? i see in datasheet pin 4 and 5 are sda scl! if doesn't it work, i damage vga? thanks Let me check the datasheet, you can solder the cables without any worries. The software has to be updated to support this VRM controller though. edit: The available datasheet doesn't disclose anything about how the serial interface works, and states "The device manages serial BUS communication to program power management functionalities as well as monitoring.". It's possible it does not support voltage control over serial bus at all. Also the output voltage seems limited to 1.35V, even with full access to its internals. Edited March 14, 201411 yr by elmor
December 3, 201410 yr I can confirm - with lowered OCP the circuit will output ~1.38v under load after mods
