  1. All my Asus A7N8X subs have no reference to the MB and is completely gone from my hardware library. Have a PC Chips P17/1333 MB reference in my hardware library which I have never used, looking at the subs all were done (as well as I remember) with a REX, some of my first postings.

  2. Interesting bench, tried 1,2 & 3 GTX 280s Invalid Result – switched to a 3870 X2 no go, last tried a 4890 valid result, kept locking up when setting up screen shot, same for 7 32 & 64. Went to 2D kicked me out of the submission saying I needed a cpu to submit for 2D, a bit frustrating.

  3. Could you please add the Xeon X5672

The one I have is a X5672 ES (Q4F4), so is it usable? After reading the rules I get the idea they talking more about leading edge.

  4. On the fence, leaning towards support.

der8aur “Also the effective ranking of the enthusiasts ranking won't change. You guys will just have more point in the list but the order will be the same.”

3D more or less agree, big change for those that like 2D in my opinion.

Sam OCX “On top of what is already said, having such a ranking will not motivate enthusiasts to move into subzero cooling (which is one of the aims of the site).”

Personally not really interested in going cold as a steady diet, though would like to pick up a few of the cold achievements but it bumps me up a league. No points no league change? Might even like it after being able to play a little.

  5. Main stream CPUs usually have a desired overclock that gets tossed around the forums, as I remember around 3.6 Kentfield’s, 4.0 Wolfdale’s not up on newer hardware. More was better but the goals where usually attainable with a little extra money spent on a good air cooler and a few extra fans, so efficiency benching might work.

Stress test benching, like the idea but variable freq – set duration don’t see any difference than what is already done here. Set freq – variable duration might work, once and on the edge freq was known for specific cooling type but use a benchable ambient freq with a SS and you might need an achievement like, I used enough electricity to power Amazon.com for a week.

  6. Thanks for the reply, that’s kinda what I thought but not having any luck figuring it out. See where I can change CPU count but not cores, no big deal was kind of a whim just to try it.

  7. Waiting!

No points, recalculate has no effect
