Hi,
I need a mod's attn on this, I have this old submission, which unfortunately lost its validation, as many subs did after the server move, you know this guys.
Anyway here it is: http://hwbot.org/submission/845213_zl1_cpu_frequency_pentium_pro_200mhz_512kb_233_mhz
and here is a screenie proving not only cpuz, but also spi on this machine: http://img.hwbot.org/u20478/image_id_204992.jpeg
So, please reinstate ?
This is a principle thing for me I know its no big deal.
Thanks,
Dan

what happens if you enable WinXP compat mode? (right mouse click, properties, second tab I think)
+1 had same issue on win7, had to use compatibility mode for wprime
-
I believe its this one http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=706433
screenie on air is prolly about the same

it is correct, 31st hardware does not get points (must be top 20 in specific hardware category to get hardware points), you are referring to those others that have points, but those are globals, best runs from each user
-
something odd and I think it only came to be a while ago, unless I missed it
the pifast submit form is in h/m/s/ms format, why ? it will only convert it back to all s/ms, the way pifast outputs it
TIA,
D

wonder if possible/needed, reason I ask is Im benching one right now and both P3 800 and P3-E 800 sections appear to be all S370, no Slot1s out there ? \r\n\r\nhttp://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=523461

First Id like to say thank you to the hwbot team, love the site and love the new features, top100 vcards and esp the autofill based on last submission, that one sure makes new submissions easier
I was also wondering about something, an idea, would it be possible to have a way to ping a fellow member directly ? basically to let them know if something was off, you know something more mild than report submission ? mainly because some have some minor misspells and such, which do throw off the system (like 5mhz or 38ghz cpu ) but arent cheats or anything
Thanks again !

in fact, current HWboint keeps some people away; who want to post one high score, but don't want to be ranked globally
oh, well that sure sux
Id say in that case plan B makes most sense or say plan C, which would allow for non-profile based submissions only for the WR page, that should make sense in a way, WRs only, no points, no rankings
just thinking out loud
-
in all honesty and irony too (since Im lotek myself), I dont think funding should really matter, it takes skill either way and also such said person did work on getting that funding somehow, I say a WR is a WR and should get points
also imo this will divide hwbot and thats not good
just a thought
-
yep only advantage would be if you can oc a single cpu better than two

Great!
It will then be easier to compare our results.

Okay, Now I understand. They need a better explanation in the FAQ on how this all works. I may never get a global, I may never get much farther than I am right now, but I sure had a blast beating on my old junk.
never say never
excellent work too, 300+ points is awesome

The global score system is what I don't understand....... Not that I will ever score a global Lol. I know I have to be wrong in the way I understand it. There are only 18 benchmarks total. In order to get a global award you have to run any particular benchmark the fastest ever in the world... Am I correct? the next person that goes faster, takes your global away? So how the heck does anyone score more than 300 total points, because if you don't own a global it just becomes another hardware point.
Note that I'm not complaining. I just don't understand and have not found a FAQ, or anything else that explains it in depth. If there is such a thing, could someone link it.
globals carry a lot of weight, you dont have to be no1 to get them, just need to be in top 400 or so, the higher you are the nicer the boints too, if you have 10 benches all being in the top 100 for ex that will be a couple hundred points right there
-
update. please scratch this, apparently I wasnt showing up because that page only counts global points, I didnt get any global until today
odd though, odd that it switched when I enabled fora, also odd that before I was showing up with my hardware points
p.s. btw why doesnt it count hardware points ? after all hardware points count toward the teams total points

Images in sigs do not work on OCF. Are you trying to get them to work somewhere else?
oh I know that, but I meant here for ex, I have it setup in the settings but its not showing up
no biggie though
Thanks
Dan

btw while Im at it, mind if I ask another ?
my join date sure doesnt make sense, very odd
and I also cant seem to get my sig to post at all, it is autoselected under prefs as our team (OCF) sig, but it wont show

seems like a bug; I'll inform our coder
Thank you
