maxmemm is just a bit all over the place, its not a bench you can consistantly push the same scores across different platforms, os differences can also cause this bench to differ greatly... its probably not a bugged run (he can probably duplicate this over and over) but more so a bugged benchmark

spoken to massman regarding this;
it seems that it is posted on one page specifically no mft allowed, and on the actual pcmark page just says 'no mft in conjunction with ssd' so i think that is getting rectified;

I dont want this score to be validated; in fact I posted this score to have a rule changed in PCMARK;
Currently PCMARK rules are written to be 'no mft used in conjunction with ssd', I am suggested the rule be changed to 'No MFT or software capable of changing disk performance' as I was using similar products with IRAMS and achieving the exact same result as SSD.
Please consider this rule change =)

with all due respect, popping up on the top10 rankings for 30 seconds doesnt put you in the top 10 overclockers in the world.... half of the names i would put in my top ten have never even posted on hwbot!
i would love to see everyone be able to participate in every contest, but at the end of the day there are only going to be limited places.. and not everyone is going to be satisfied with the decisions that are made... i understand that the whole concept is based around religation, so over the course of 2-3 seasons, this competition is going to even itself out to where it should be... unfortunatly in 2-3 seasons you might be retired or no longer at your peak... this is how f1 or english premier league works though...

it seems this issue will never be resolved...
dont get the wrong picture, this isnt about envy as its been made to be believed. this is about the fact one individual posses so many pieces of hardware that are unmatched in raw mhz..
if sam really does have all these pieces of hardware he claims to, then let us all learn from him and his binning processes as hes doing really well..
if he doesnt, and something else is going on, then so be it, thats something only he really knows, do what you gotta do man

650 isnt impossible on asus x48 board, rampage extreme, on evo is highly unlikely..

thanks george, ive been pushing hard to get past sf3d but he is a very good bencher and is making it a great competition for 3rd/4th...
ive been taking getting close to george with a grain of salt, knowing he hasnt posted results in ages and that things will change soon im sure
for me 3rd is a privledge and i wil continue to push hard to break personal records

i dont think single gpu is dead, look at 3dmark2001 my favourite game, so far its dominated by single card, and this is argueably the most skillful 3d bench...
i agree its hard to keep up if you want to be on top, but does anyone really need to be on top, alot of the hardest to get scores are the ones at the top of popular classes, 2900s, gts, gt, if you can get scores at the top of this range, these people can be proud of their achievements

everyone has very different and understanding takes on this card,
my view is that, its as hard to manage as two cards, if not more,
have you tried lately trying to mount 2 pots to one of these cards, trying to troubleshoot which cards is holding you back, and everything that goes with it,
i think this should be in single card rankings, anyone that manages to run one of these on subzero has deserved their points!
